Lionel Geoffrey Fergusson Moultrie was born in Rangoon in 1900, the son of James Edward Moultrie and Ethel Mowbray Moultrie.
According to the Navy List, he joined the Navy as a Midshipman on the 15th of September, 1917. In 1919, he was serving on the HMS Valiant. He died of influenza on the 23rd of April, 1919 - aged 17 years.
He is buried at Brookwood Cemetery, Surrey.
