Henry Valentine Mills was born on the 24th of November 1881, the son of Francis Mills and Selina Mary (née Knightley) of Pillertom, Warwickshire.
He was educated at Shrewsbury House and Cheltenham.
He was killed at Ypres on the 25th of June, 1917 - aged 35 years.
